- 1. RED - It is important that you use a constant power source. (This red wire is your running light side of this unit and must be hooked up. Example: power side of the ignition switch, head light, or the battery.
- 2. WHITE - Left Mirror. Solder direct to the output side of the turn signal switch.
- 3. BLUE - Right Mirror. Solder direct to the output side of the turn signal switch.
- 4. BLACK - To ground (Not to Aluminum Housing). Make sure that your bars are not rubber mounted.
Tip: To run the wires inside your bars, you will need to remove the grips/controls and drill a 1/4 inch hole under the switch cover so you can fish the wires to your electric contact points.
Tip: Push a 1/4 inch plastic tube through the bars to get the wires across the bars. You will need a volt meter to find the correct contact. Solder directly to the switch. We suggest that you solder all connections and that you use shrink tube to cover all exposed wires and areas that may rub.
Note: Make sure the battery has a full charge. These mirrors are totally self-contained and will work with or without a flasher unit already in place. IMPORTANT! After installation make sure to re-tighten the mirror body nut securely (11/16" wrench).
For the Bike Shows! These mirrors work in both the running light and turn signal modes by wiring both the red and white/blue wires directly to the battery. No need to have anything else on!
